What is the best mp3 player that handles audio books from Net Library and is Audible.com compatible?
What does "audible" mean on the insignia MP3 player? I want to play my MP3 player in my car, but when I use an audio cord in the AUX outlet in my car, the volume is very low, even if I turn it up on the MP3 player and when I turn the volume all the way up in my car. (You can barely hear it, like a whisper) Does the "audible" function on the inginia MP3 player have anything to do with this? If not, how can I make it so that I can use it in the car or does anyone know of a good MP3 portable player that works good in your car (as far as the volume goes) Should the cord have 3 diifferent ends? Like red, white and yellow? I have a Nissan with AUX plug already in it.
Does Windows media player automatically connect to the internet when one is connected to the internet? I notice when I use windows media player to play songs that I downloaded to my computer from a hard copy CD, my internet connection log will show a connection to sevral music websites such asemusic.com audible.com puretracks.com and a few more. Is it a built in feature of windows media player to automatically connect to those sites when using wmp and on the internet? Would it continue to access those sites even if I have not downloaded any new music? And would the connection to those sites be stopped once I close WMP? By close I mean click the red x

I've heard good things about the Creative Zen Vision:M, iRiver Clix (gen2), and Cowon A2. Any opinions, impressions, reviews, advice? Feel free to suggest a different player entirely!
Does anyone have audibles on their MP3 player? If so is it worth the money? I love to read but when I am traveling and the sun goes down it would be nice to put on the headsets and hear a book being read to me lol yeah I know it sounds lame.

My BMW has flat battery.One thing noticed before this was an audible ticktock from speakers when ignition off? The car is a 330i se tourer. Apart from the annoying tick tock, like an indicator signal, coming through the speakers when the ignition is off and keys removed, the screen on the business CD player has been playing up. Is there an audible difference between 128k and 320k files? I ripped "Explosive" and "Adagio for Strings" off of Bond's "Classified" CD in both 128k mp3 and 320k mp3 files using Windows Media Player 11 to do the ripping. Then I randomly played them back and I didn't hear any notable differences between the different bit rates. Has anyone noticed a difference between 128k mp3 files and 320k mp3 files?
Trying to copy music from Media Player to MP3? I'm trying to copy music from my Windows Media Player Version 9 to my Sandisk MP3. Usually when I connect it a box opens that says copy. Well, I'm on a different computer now. No box opens. Well, in Windows Media I can select "Copy to CD or Device" and the Sansa Sandisk shows but the options given are Config, Audible, and Record. I have to select (highlight) one. This doesn't make sense. What should I do?

Why has my audio recently become distorted when I convert aa files, from audible, to mp3 using soundtaxi? I have been downloading an 11 to 3 satellite radio show from audible. I have been converting the files to mp3 using soundtaxi. I am using the old version of the audible media filter plugin for windows media player method to do this. This had been working great and I could listen to the show wherever I wanted. Lately though (within the past month) the files have been distorted and there are skips and major distortion every so often. I did not change any settings in sound taxi or make any major changes to my computer. I am very conservative. It is mostly a media server and to do things like this. When I listen to the files using the audible media player the files play absolutely fine. I am thinking this might be some kind of new DRM or something. Has anybody else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

How do I convert Audible (.aa) file to MP3? I am looking for a FREE .aa to .mp3 file converter. I have tried Format Factory, Goldwave and iTunes. Which is the best MP-3 player? Is the Zune worth checking out? I mainly listen to audio books from Audible.com but want to explore other stuff, like music and videos. My current player is a SanDisk 2GB and it's not user friendly. The ipod is looking good, because it has a feature that allows you to speed up audiobooks when you're listening to them. Downloading audio books from audible to muvo v100 mp3? I have a 2gb muvo v100 player. i want to download audio books on it. i went to audible.com and downloaded 3 books. then tried to transfer it to my mp3 player. athis message popped up. muvo does not take format 4 on it it accepts formats 2 and 3. i have tried transfering it to windows media player. still no go. any ideas on how to get around it? oh when i sync it from wmp it shows in my computer but not when i pull it off. but it still wont play it. Why does Yahoo Messenger not know I have Flash Player 9? I just downloaded Flash Player 9 and now My Yahoo messenger asks me to update my flash player in order to play audibles. I've Got Flash Player 9 already installed. It says so when I go to Macromedia's site: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ What is happening??? Suddenly my Yahoo Messenger decides to recognize Flash Player 9. I had remove Flash Player 8 and installed Player 9 like suggested but it still failed to work. How do you add music to the ipod nano video? I just got my first ipod and i have no idea how to add music to it. my other mp3 player had a folder called 'audible' which i just added my files to, but the nano doesn't have that. i also use limewire on the most part, so i dont know if that'll help. thanks in advance

Yahoo Music Launchcast no sound, emptied IE cache & tested Windows Media Player, what now? Yahoo Messenger has sound for IMs and for audibles. Windows Media Player plays music fine. Emptied Internet Explorer cache. Have Windows Media Player 11 and IE 7. Can play MP3 music with Winamp too. Tried volume control on bottom of launchcast plugin. Plugin shows song name and counts time, ad counts time too, just don't hear ANYTHING!! from Launchcast. OMG this is driving me nuts! Any ideas?? oh, and also deleted all cookies from Internet Explorer I also just tried reinstalling Windows Media Player 11, Launchcast still produces no sound whatsoever!! Well I rolled back Windows Media Player to version 9, installed version 10 several times, sound worked intermittently in Launchcast and Napster during the process. Then finally I realized that the problem was my Kaspersky Anti-Virus. I had set it to scan network traffic on all ports, and for some reason the internet radio was not passing through it right. So I had to add Napster and Yahoo Messenger to my trusted zone in Kaspersky so it wouldn't scan their traffic, and wala! works correctly now! So if you have the same problem, you might wanna try disabling your antivirus or your firewall temporarily and seeing if the internet radio works without them. Also, in the meantime, I started listening to Shoutcast with Winamp. They actually have a lot of smaller independent stations available, and more variety than Launchcast does. The problem is, though, you cannot skip songs with Shoutcast. See http://www.shoutcast.com for details. I was frustrated with not being able to skip songs on Shoutcast. I knew from past research that Napster has the largest American music collection anywhere on the web, including a lot of independent labels that other music sites don't have, but I hadn't paid attention to the fact that they also offer skippable internet radio to their subscribers. Anyway I signed up and supposedly they will charge me about $10 a month after the 7 day free trial (I don't use a portable music player so I don't need Napster To Go which is $15). Anyway it's pretty cheap and they got all the music under the sun, so I'm pretty happy with my choice, now that I figured out how to make the antivirus work with it.

Mp3 help. Do they all play audible books and voice record? I bought a mp3 player last night for 43.00 but i found some on the internet for 25.00 with the same size memory.
