How do you convert a podcast so that it will play in my Music folder?

The podcast has individual songs but I want to play them in my ipod without having to go to the podcast section.

1. I am not sure you can place it somewhere else like that, but you can record it. Then you add the recordings to your itunes library and it will probably appear in your music section on your ipod(but you might not get album art for it). All you need is an audio recorder(link below). Hope that helps
