  2. Well, because a mac cannot be classified as a computer, you destroy it, burn it, bury it, dig it up, feed it to an elephant, and then cover the elephant dung in poison, dirt, and a few pounds of lime. Then you go out and buy a real computer, and move on from there.

Now that we have moved on, let us take it a step back. If you were stupid enough to buy a mac, slap yourself, and duel-boot windows or linux on it. Now that you have functioning operating system that is remotely useful, buy a real mp3 player, not an i(somethingstupid). However, if you stick with the ipod, you will have to rebuild your entire collection, and reinstall itunes. Why you ask?? Because of DRM. It is a system that makes sure that no matter what, you can only have the song on one form of media. as in on your ipod. If you try to transfer it, mac thinks your stealing and reports you to the RIAA who then sues you for billions of dollars.

Better solution, get your music the right way, limewire if you have good anti-virus, or something else, and then put it on your ipod manually, using your ipod as a memory stick from your computer. This way, you can do everything forever, and do not have to rebuy the music you already own ever time you get a new IPOD, computer, or even want to put it on a cd for personal use.

I am so sorry you have done this to yourself buy purchasing something so useless as a product made by the evil, useless apple company. After a few months of being able to run almost no software, or at least run it very poorly, hopefully you will come to your senses and return to the wonderful world of windows/linux/unix.

Even adobe products work just as good on windows as mac nowadays. There is virtual no reason to have a mac, unless you are filthy rich and want to tell everyone how you bought an overpriced computer that essentially does nothing wiegh down papers. If it even does that. Please do not throw your money away so recklessly. I truly pitty your misguidedness.

    PS.

If you are getting a mac because windows had virus trouble, here is some food for thought. It is easy to write a virus for mac, and it has been done, but macs are so useless, that nobody bothers writing virii for them, it is labor intensive, and would yield nothing in the end. Windows however are so useful, that the computer would rock on a botnet, unlike a mac, which would just sit around and render pictures on its overpriced core.
